I just had my Dension installed and I have a service appointment (2yr/20k) scheduled for tomorrow. Do I have to switch something on the device before service? What if I don't? I'm the one who can't find where the installers installed the dension.

The AUX input unite has a switch on it. If not set to the CDC setting it may cause the Porsche diagnostics unit to report bogus errors... or so i've been told.

If it did report an error what does the dealer do? If they reset something does it mess with the Dension unit?

yes ... be sure to switch the switch. Confused the heck out of my dealer first time I took it in. They were trying to set the computer system to activate the CD changer / phone function but could not. Turned out I should have put it in Aux mode first.

Do they run a check on the system no matter what? I don't think I need to turn on the cd changer, it appears to working without. I can't get song titles to come up but I don' think that has to do with the cd changer being turned on.
