I am considering a red interior as well with some black deviations. It has become very clear to me however from reading this and other forums that doing these deviations correctly is very tricky business. It is very easy to make a mistake and end up with a mess. The red interiors can look absolutely beautiful but I have seen many interiors with multicolored red/black dashes that were horrific. You need to be vewwy vewwy cawefull.

Yep, like I said at the beginning of this thread (and DaHapa's car demonstrates), red is awesome if you tone it down a little... As for ordering, just make sure you use the ordering guide - it has every little piece of leather, carpet, stitching, etc. Take your time and make sure you got them all. I do believe there is an option for full deviating carpets to make life easier...

Anything is possible with Porsche if you're willing to ante up the coin.

I like the red steering wheel and dash so that wasn't a consideration for me. The only other combo that I even really contemplated was a full leather interior in black with red seats and door inserts and red stitching on the dash, wheel and door panels. But I really liked the red leather and went that route.

Thanks for the compliments, BTW.

Not true.

In fact, the "build your own" feature on the Porsche website continues to offer the Carrera Red Natural Leather interior.
