NATURAL LEATHER is it high maintenance?
I'm perfectly happy with STD LEATHER, but am thinking of ordering a 997mk2 and in order to get the wife to buy in, I am considering NAT Leather, she loves it! My only concern is that all of my spare time will be taken maintaining that beautiful, soft and very comfortable leather.
I would appreciate any feedback from Nat leather owners.

I have the natural brown. I have quite a bit of it in the car, so I have to set aside some time to deal with it. I start off with saddle soap (a little) and then go on to Hide Food (Connolly). After I let it work it's thing I then go in with a damp microfiber towel and wipe the stuff off.
The natural interiors simply wear differently than the painted on stuff. It would best be described as the sort of finish you would see on a car at Pebble Beach. Aging it only makes it look better.
I don't consider it any higher maintenance than the regular stuff.

This is my first Porsche but given my experience in maintaining leather in other cars, I agree. The natural red leather interior in my 911 isn't any more maintenance than any other leather interior would account for.
