Order for 997.2
Sat down with the dealer and put together this car, what do you think?
Base Carrera
Aqua Blue (D2)
Stone Grey Leather (DC)
Heated Seats (342)
19" Turbo Wheels (404)
Self Dimming Mirrors (267)
Sport Chrono Plus (640)
Thicker 3 Spoke Sport Steering Wheel (XPA)
BOSE (680)
Bluetooth (619)
Universal Audio Interface (870)
I know most of you hate the BOSE system, I have it in my 2005 and this version is so much better.

Drop the Sport Chrono (which offers no performance benefit) and spend that money on the Limited Slip Differential (which does).
$10 savings and you'll end up with a better performing car.

It's all about personal preferences and opinions, and I would expect a car in that price range to have power seats (P15). If you like the turbo rims, you may also want to look at the new Carrera S II wheels (419), which are slightly less expensive (and much prettier in my book). No PDK (250)?
Keep in mind that 640 gives you a dashboard wart that some don't like, and make sure to look at D2 under different lighting conditions.
Now, adding TD1 European Delivery is a total must!

19s without the PASM on the base car? Read the review in Excellence before placing this order.

Sounds like a great car - you'll love it.

Ditch the sport chrono and get an aftermarket remap that will add power and will permently turn on the sport. I run 19's on my CS without PASM. Ride is perfectly fine and firm. I have a set of PSS9's on my bench awaiting install too.
LSD yes.
If you fit in them, at least get the sport seats. If you can stretch your budget the sport buckets.
Floor mats?
Color is always a personal preference. I like the blues. I don't like the gray interiors. Very boring. A blue/blue car would be cool. I sometimes wish I had ordered my car that way, but I ordered black.
I'm not a big stereo fan, so I wouldn't order the stereo stuff. But, again everyone is different.

Why is there such polarization in views?
Why does it have to be you riding down a gravel road in summer on a luge sled in terms of ride... or the floating couch of a Buick are the only two options?
There's nothing wrong with wanting a firm but comfortable european sports ride on a Porsche.
