Hi Mick,
I'm not familiar with that particular Ruf conversion. It does state that it has a 3.4l supercharged motor which certainly sounds like Ruf.
You could contact Ruf (http://www.rufautocentre.com/contact/index.asp) and ask them if they could email you some info on that model or the particular car.

Default thanks....

really a cool looking machine and after some internet research have gathered the car can run, one report said the car would keep pace with a 997 turbo in a stright line and walking away in the turns. Published reports of a 0-60 est 4.5 were noted as grossly under rated.......

Actually, Alois Ruf has been building a few of these. My friend and neighbor picked up a Cayman S in June 2006 and his car became the prototype for Alois to perfect the kit. He finally got the car in the USA in April 2007. It makes for a 400hp car. I think they price out around $140K. Here's a snapshot...several more are posted in the Cayman Forum.

I believe this a an actual RUF manufactured car, not a conversion. Pretty exclusive machine.

Certainly very, very cool, but I would rather have a Farnbacher Cayman GTR. Same power without the need for forced induction.

Farnbacher vs RUF..... assuming $ was same would go RUF, but you make a good point
