We've all read the same reviews with all the specs over and over. Now we're ready to actually see 'em in the flesh. My local dealer says he'll get his this week. I'm there...

Those buttons are for the rear quarter windows on the CABRIOLET. You Coupe boys don't get'em.
And yes, on the PDK it displays what gear you're in. Thank GawdX 2!!

On another note; i finally took these bad boys out.
In 'auto' mode- it'll bang too fast thru the gears when upshifting; but **** its fast when pressing your left foot hard! Down shifts is what you want; REALLY FAST AND SMOOTH downshifts are what you're gonna get! And it'll hold the gear for a bit too!
In manual mode. HATE the steering wheel shifters. sorry. But they are indeed; *** backwards. (as many of you have noted.)
BUT- in comes the center gear changer! I love it. I honestly gotta say; its shift's so friggin quick; as a client pointed out "it shifts faster then I can think when it's supposed to shift!"

Saw a new Carrera today at the local stealer. I honestly didn't even notice the tail lights but did notice the larger mirrors which I didn't care for but could get used to. I didn't care for the stock 18" wheels either but maybe they'll grow on me.
They switchgear looked expensive as Chris suggested and I was able to verify it is a fact by looking at the window sticker
The car I looked at was white which I didn't care for but I would love to see one in cream white.

this sucks, my dealer won't get em till next friday, for drivers to come pick up first orders next saturday, and get privlidges...i can't even see em till the next shipment...the next thursday.
i like the basalt black, i'm thinking of putting it on my 944. also liked the cobalt blue, why'd they get rid of it?
