Then again, some men don't really worry about their image with other guys.

Taste used to be considered a matter of, taste. Often influenced by culture and education, w/ ironically broader definitions of masculinity and femininity. Feminine aspects to an automobile (curvaceousness), among Italian exotics in particular, was appreciated. In supposedly less enlightened times an ivory or pale blue Porsche was part of the European style the car represented. Now,in this "culturally enlightened era" where good manners are an elitist affectation and children can text nude pictures to each other, a "real man" chooses his color palette very carefully indeed. Progress? Hardly.

LOL - I'll try to be more subtle next time. Like I said, each to his own. If you like it, cream with a natural brown leather interior might be stunning. I have just never been a fan of shades of brown on cars, for example, the tan, brown, goldish metallics found on zillions of cars, for me those shades have always been fugly ... oops, guess I am still not being subtle!

I actually appreciate your honesty and candor. Your comment reminded me of some of my comments in other threads about the Cocoa interior.

While I might say something like that about a color in general, I wouldn't say it about a Rennlister's personal car. A while back I really had to bite my tongue when someone posted that they had just taken delivery of a 2009 C2S in Nordic Gold with a Cocoa interior. I couldn't think of anything nice to say, so I didn't post in the thread.

White, not silver is the original Porsche racing color. So white Pcars are sensible to enthusiasts.

Points,

Your car is gorgeous. I like white or a cream color on the 911. If the new cream color has pink tones however, then that color would be made for a woman.

Totally agree, thankfully this wasn't about someone's actual car.

We have a 2009 cream white turbo with 700 miles on it on our floor, it has the coco leather and its a stunning car. They also had a cream white C2S cab at the auto show with a coco top and coco interior i personally find the look stunning. I am shocked no one has bought this turbo considering what a deal it is with only 700 miles on it.

Porsche sold this color back in the late 1970's and early 1980's and i loved it then too.

Seen it, color pretty darn close to VW harvest beige on bugs (maybe even the same)
