dension install...FINALLY
its like most of the posts say folks - easy easy easy.
the bulk of the work is merely dis/re assembly of panels, etc, and making everything look clean. initializing PCM was pretty simple and navigation, while needing some time to get used to, is relatively intuitive. i mounted everything in trunk which is fine for me so i'm gonna leave as is, but if i ever get frisky enough i'll run the cords into the cabin.
MUCH thanks to eric at bumperplugs - he's the man when it comes to cust svc. also thanks to larrytrk for puttin up with my ignorant a** and annoying phone calls.

literally, it's too easy (but i already had the factory CDC, etc). a bunch of screws to get the trunk panels off, threading thru a grommet behind CDC in order to grab power from battery (or you can tap into the CDC power), and then just following the dension instructions/arrows for the FIOS connections. trust me, its easy.

yep, mounted in trunk. ok, sure it would be nice to have in glove box or in center console (ESPECIALLY if i get an iphone), but it was the "path of least resistance" install, and works just fine for now. pretty much plug and play - i mean, the initial set-up menu isnt overly intuitive, but it only took me about 5 mins of fiddling around, sorting thru the instruction booklet, etc to start playing tunes/navigating. and even if you run into probs, there's always this forum or eric to fall back on for help.

Here's some of my dension install pics
As posted above, this is really pretty darn easy - hardest part is figuring out which direction the fiber optic cables go.
I've got BTA1500 also, not pictured, and it works flawlessly

No, dash pull out not required. Follow the threads here and the info I sent. Should be fine.
