Default softronic with sport option

Hullo

I finally bought the software and installed it yesterday. I dont have sport option on my car, and I had requested sport to be turned on, but honelstly it feels about the same, i expected it to be sensitive like my old m3 or may be better then my stock. now i never had porsche sport option so i dont know what it feels like. any of you guys had the softronic with sport turned on. can you guys give me feed back as to how the throttle response feels. is there a noticable difference or a suttle difference.

thanks

I have Softronic with the sport chrono option and the throttle is much more sensative with the sport button pushed. The difference was the same between the stock ecu and the Softronic software which is good because at the track trying to modulate the throttle with anymore of a sensative throttle responce would not be good. I actually like the stock throttle responce better at the track. It is much more smoother.

nmporsche, I have not dyno'd my car to test the 30hp claim. However at the track I can tell there is some more power in the 3500-4500rpm range when throttling out of turns.

so, this raises the question ...do we have some unsatisfied Softronic purchasers? ...I only ask as it, Softronic, is on my 'seriously considering list right now (note I have a full FabSpeed exhaust installed and the EVOMS intake pending and looking for an ECU upgrade to tie these all together)

I have the regular softronic map and am very pleased with it....I've noticed improved power delivery, better feel and a bit more meat in the midrange. I have sport chrono but don't use the sport button as I find the throttle response too sensitive and prefer the PASM in normal.

Based on the psots in this thread, that's a pretty big leap you made to "unsatisfied".

The way I read it was 2/4 posts (#1 and #3) 'noticed no difference ...if I spend $1000 on a product to get 'no difference ...I might be unsatisfied?

Anyway, as mentioned, just asking as I am considering this product. There is lots of praise for Softronic over on 6speed

I bought the software based on the forum feed back, its great, i saw a big difference, vow it wakes the car up , and so on, unfortunately i cannot say the same. I see some difference in the mid range. I have no sport chrono, but the sport is turned on, and i dont see a noticable throttle response. I tlaked to scott and he said thats normal, there is not a huge differnce in normal to sport . hmm

100% satisfied Took about 3 days for the software to learn the car and do its thing, but very noticeable at this point. Care revs more freely, and is def, def def mor responsive and faster.

All installs I have done have been noticeable (quite) and immediate.
No complaints what so ever. And the only software I use at this point.
Jay Putnam.
btw, I put Scott on a "problem child" another tuner was tweaking for almost 2 years with no success, Scott sent software for this problem car, and shazaam,
happy camper. I have staked my reputation on his product, and am happy I did.
