I am considering a Mexico Blue 997.

What color interior would look best?

Would red calipers look OK with Mexico Blue?

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I have considered Beige, I think it's a great color in the 997, but most will tell you Black I'm sure. Any color calipers will look hot with MexB.
I am considering a 997 C2 with just two options Paint to Sample MexB and the CF Sport Bucket Seats. An elemental 911 in my opinion.

Me thinks natural brown also...that'd be stunning. Red calipers should complement the blue nicely also, although the PCCB yellow would be even better.

Natural brown is a terrific color. But with a lighter color like Mexico Blue you might just settle with a dark gray. It all depends upon the level of contrast you're looking for.

Hmmm...Hadn't thought about NBL with Mexico blue. Need to reconsider that.

How about this: Mexico Blue/black full leather, the new sport buckets, PCCB's (yellow calipers), Carrera Sport wheels, yellow stitching on everything, and the new sport PASM with limited slip. Make that a 997GT3 Mk2 and I think you've built my perfect car!

I like Natural Brown, but think that with a light color like Mexico Blue, Natural Gray (almost black) or Black work best. BTW, Tim, I like the way you think!

Ditch the yellow stiching, too busy. But add color to the cockpit, say like the outside color on the cup holder cover or shift boot trim. Do the center console the same or contrast color. Think of the dial faces as well. You want to unique, go with all dial faces one color except the tach in another. I'm doing this with my car soon, all black dial faces, yellow pointers, but the tach will be yellow with red pointer. (I know, sounds like Ferrari envy). But it sure looks nice.

The C/F buckets like the GT2 ones that tilt are big $$, I'd go aftermarket later if you want to keep it, but those seats are really sick.

match seatbelts to caliper color. Paint the steering wheel center (if sport) to exterior color. Door trim and handles are nice in contrast colors or C/F.

Inside you could also go two-tone on the leather/carpet. That would be unique as well as you really seldom see these at all.

Don't forget the lit sills, always look nice at night. Wish they had the C/F ones when my car was built as I would have done those as opposed to the stainless.

I wish Porsche offered the embossed crest on my seat headrests in color like the GT seats, I like the added crest color.

PCCB's are nice, but the steels work just as well unless you track it really hard. If streeting, the steels are just fine. Put the money into go-fast items, handle better items.

Cocoa w/ painted seatbacks, console and PCM. That would be eye popping (as if Mexico Blue isn't on it's own... )

I would suggest keeping the exterior color out of the interior except for maybe the seat backs...it's just too bright and looks gaudy. It certainly can be added/subtracted later.
Check out the used MB 997 turbo at the San Diego Porsche dealer for an example of this.
Love that Sea Blue with red stitching but would not use it with Mexico Blue.
