piggybacking on the other CB thread.
let's assume a well-installed CB is a good idea.
on what colors is the install least noticeable?
my guess from least visible to most visible are;
silvers
yellows
whites
light blues
oranges
reds
dark blues
black
perhaps the guys at Premier will comment?
we are buying an 09 Nordic Gold 997.
Where does NG fit onto this list?
cheers

I notice that people see the film via 2 visible giveaways: 1) the edge line where the film ends ; 2) the surface patina (especially if using the 3M film with a slight orange peel texture).
The edge line where the film ends can be visible, especially if there is dirt or wax accumulation. So any color which hides dirt well will help hide the edge. So probably lighter colors like silver, gray. A good install will wrap the film around the edges of the body panels and hide the edges within the lines of the car.
Compared to the solid colors, sparkly metallic paints make the surface reflection off the film less obvious. Metallic paint also hides dust better.

silvers: invisible
yellows: invisible
whites: will yellow, i dont care what product you use, and who installed it. it will yellow, unless you never drive the car.
light blue: i dont have blue cars
oranges: invisible
reds: i dont have red cars
dark blues: i presume invisible if it's cark like black
black: invisible with a very good installer.
i use venture film
installation by premier. they do san diego areas too.

Hands down best is silver or a lighter grey (not Atlas grey which is almost black).
Worst is just about anything dark - any shade of black, dark green, dark blue, etc.

Almost invisible on my car (orient red, one of the metallic reds). Worst I have seen (as mentioned above) are yellowing on white or poor edges (debonding) on black. From what I hear, ventureshield does not yellow. I'll let you know in a few years, as we are having it put on our new truck!

My car is seal gray and you can't really see the bra unless you standing next to the car. My wife Boxste is deep olice mattalic (almost black) and it is more noticable...

Mine is black and it has the clear bra. You can't really tell in pictures or from 10 feet, but when you get up close, or if you know what good paint looks like you can defiantly see it.
Notice the reflection difference in the hood vs. the door in this picture?
