Default Tooki Users - UPDATE!

http://navtv.com/SW/Software_Updates...%207-09-08.zip

Release notes for Tooki (Bluetooth)
Version 708:
Ground-up rewrite of the Tooki's core operating system. This rewrite not only improves the overall
speed and performance of the Tooki, but also improves the interaction of the Tooki with other
devices in the vehicle, such as factory Satellite radio and other Nav-TV modules.

1) Implemented security routines that prevent a Tooki crash from affecting other components connected to the radio.
2) Corrected a bug in the PCM that sometimes removes the First character of a cellular carrier's name. (For example, “Sprint” would sometimes display as “print”.)
3) Another modification to improve Deletion of paired devices.
4) Implemented a method to load the phone book quicker after connection to the phone.
NOTE: This new version requires the Parrot v1.50 update to operate reliably.

What is the Parrot 1.5 in relation to the Tooki. I did the last update on the Tooki and it was scary as it didn't work right away. I had to delete the old phone tags reset it somehow.

Can anyone reply with a step by step update for a non-technically inclined person like me.

When you download the zip file, it will extract with all you need. All updaters and instructions are in the folder. Once you have it downloaded, click to extract, then follow the instruction files.

There are 10 files total in that zip file posted in my link.

Use Parallels on your Mac, like everyone else. Or borrow a Win laptop. They've been working on this bug fix rather than the Mac updater, but that's the best thing for now.

Neither option available so will stick to the old version for now I guess.
