Default Bad timing- 2008 997 C2S for sale

I tried to list in the members classifieds but having some problem. Until I get that sorted thought I'd post here for possible interest. I bought my 2008 C2S in March - ordered to my spec, build was in Feb. A few weeks ago I accepted a job in KL Malaysia for the next 3 years. I know, I know -worst possible time to sell a nearly new '08 997. Well, my loss may be someone else's gain.

The car: 2008 997 C2S, Arctic Silver over Seablue full leather, power heated seats, Bose,CD changer, Nav, Carrera white instruments, thicker leather multi-fn steering wheel, Carrera classic wheels, rear wiper, mats. MSRP was $98.7k Clear bra, white sidemarkers and stainless exhaust tips added.

Careful break in and oil and filter changed at 2k mi. Current milage about 3500. I did one track day with relatively few laps, driving moderately, not hard.

Asking $83k and will consider offers. Also still contemplating storing her.

listed on Autotrader also. Here's a pic. Happy to email more to anyone interested.

Nicely equipped car. This looks like a good opportunity for someone. Good luck with the sale.

Still for sale. Any interest at $80,500? Edmunds says $79k trade, $85.9k private sale (which I know means exactly squat), but thought just north of 80k would be reasonably aggressive pricing. if anyone is interested or knows someone looking.....

Thanks

I think edmunds prices are high. You should try kbb. I find them to be more accurate.
Good luck with the sale.

Default nice car

if it gives you some context, I just got mine a few months ago, and paid $80K on the dot, and my car is very comparably optioned Since mine was "new," I would unfortunately think that yours should be priced well below this as a "used" car, especially with the "09's out. Anyway, hope its helpful context. Good luck with the sale and the move

Not the news you want to hear but I would advertise this in the local papers. The dealers are taking deals near $80k for new cars. My buddy just picked up an 08 Targa w/5k miles for a song.

good luck and if you can, store the car. by the time you get back, it will probably be worth more with those miles.

I'm VERY interested. Let me forward this to the wife and see what happens. We were going to wait and order a 2009. Where do you live?

Saw that after the fact thanks. (I need to learn to read).

Zedcat I tracked it down on Autotrader, left a voicemail, e-mail etc. The car is almost exactly as what we were going to order- you obviously have excellent taste. The wife loves it too (always a good sign).

I can be down there with a check within a day- two at most. Please let me know. Thanks all.

Sounds like George means business. Let us know if you get the car, George. It looks like a nice car at a very fair price.

Store it, my friend. I have a sneaking feeling this is going to be a keeper like 87-89 Air Cools are now.
