Default Has anyone had their dealer install denison?

If so how much did they charge? Do most dealers do this or do most say that don't want to touch aftermarket stuff.

Mine won't touch it - they farm this stuff out.

Mine wouldn't touch it either--and the electronics shop they referred me to had very little experience dealing with fiber optics. Soooo, I ended up doing it myself.

However, another dealer a couple to few hundred miles away installs them for about $750 (I believe that included the price of the Dension itself.)

BTW, the actual name of the device is "Dension", not "Denison". That info can be important if you are searching the archives.

Northland in Cincinnati did mine. They did some other things so I am not sure how much it cost but the figures here sound about right.

Why in the world a dealer would not do this is beyond me. It's NOT that tough, has zero impact on the existing system, and the dealer gets paid for labor. We sell to quite a few dealers and they love it, the customer is happy, and they all gain on the deal.

Or....it can be done by yourself, but your Porsche may need a quick 10 minute programming trip to a dealer too when done.

We have an installer in LA, but not SD....sorry. Let us know how it goes with the dealer if you go.
