Good info for me, but I've been told that this install takes from 8 to 15 hrs depending on which dealer I ask. Does anyone know of a reasonabble installer?
TIA

Best sounding PSE came from an owner who had 200 cell cats installed. Off sounds nice and low, On sounds at full revs like a Cup car at the track. It's quite louder with the 200 cells.

Then, there's muffler bypass pipes!!!

I know I know... (Search)!!! I have been told that the DME cannot be programmed to have the PSE come on when the ignition is turned on and be turned off only with the switch. Any input?

Direct wire to a 12 volt source for on/off at will, bypass the DME.

It can be done in software if you can download the controlling code, manipulate it and then upload it back into the FPGA that hosts it. Seems like a lot of trouble for eliminating pushing a button each time.

Manipulating Porsche firmware? Could turn really ugly.

How about using the 'Clapper'. Just interface the infamous 'Clapper' switch and wallah . . . . . instant PSE state change. Better yet how about some voice recognition interface.

Go with the tried and true 12 volt enabler toggle switch.

I better detune my coffee . . . to much caffeine.
