Default thanks.....

Someone that made the connection..... thanks. Note: It is OK if people like or not like it just shocked the first initial few were so blown away with the "rain gutter" design and missed the true connection made by a classic design that goes back to gt2 993.... anyway.... thanks

I like it... It might need some side skirts to balance the look out. But the lip looks nice.

Thanks for the links. But none of them stated the function of the rain gutters.

And you did post this in a 997 forum. Just sayin'...

Default no problem

Oh I thought you had just never seen the design before....some might say it adds down force at high speeds or helps in same way in regards to aerodynamics.... maybe on the true 993 gt2 but in my case and the speed (non autobahn speed) I highly doubt I will see any true fucntion or perf gains in anyway..... at least I am a realist. And your comments like others always well taken. When you put yourself out there get ready for likes and dislikes. I value the forum and its diverse group so any input to me is good IMO... Thanks

have a nice night...

Just came back from the sunday evening porsche meet, seemed to be well recieved but not sure someone live will tell you something looks fugly anyway

It's a classic design of a front splitter for a 911. A splitter helps with stability at higher speeds. The design still functions on a 997.

Next fix should be the third radiator. Get some
air into the rear of the car.

It's your car brother... if you like the look that's all that matters. I think you have a very nice very unique 997 in a sea of very look-alike 997's (mine included).

Way to go!! Can't wait to see it in person.
