Default New Pics - A little different front end 997 -

Some were skeptics (now after seeing they may feel they were correct) when I first noted I was going with the Hamman front chin spoiler.... I thought long and hard vs the gt3 front end which we all know is beautiful. But I wanted to try something a bit different and something no one else has. (well not many) I am very pleased with the results. My only fear is that I may not want to add my coil overs as the Boston area roads are terrible and this could be a disaster.... anyway here are some pics. I will get ready to field the bombs from the pursist believeing I bastardized my car. But thats OK, different strokes for different fokes... hope some enjoy. I may swap the RUF center caps out for Porsche Crest but open to any other suggestions besides lowering the car as that topic is still being considered.... thanks

I'm sort of neutral; it's really not conspicuous enough to make that much of a difference to me. Still a great looking car. The Ruf wheels (as usual) look amazing.

Default Thanks

thanks, I did want something less "in your face" and painted to match, I thought the lines flowed well with the car. Again sure others may not approve; but I did put myself out there so what ever comments I get I deserve; positive or negative. Thanks for the note back.

Mick: I like subtle better than some of those carpet sweepers you see ..but that rain gutter section seems to catch my eye too easily. ..perhaps because it goes outside the perimeter of the body.

Looks expensive. I would worry about scraping it on the driveway, particularly if it was lower.

The good thing is that front lip can likely be changed to something else. The bad, well, it's just not doing it for me....and I agree, that rain gutter lower side piece is a distraction. Nice car, though.

I don't understand the "rain gutter". Is that supposed to somehow be functional?? On looks alone, I'm afraid it looks unnatural - - and somehow forced/tacked-on.

Love the wheels.

Enjoy your car!!
