I got mine to signify the sale of our company (which of course allowed me to be in the fortunate position to buy a 911). Its obnoxious and i fully expect other drivers to call me in when/if i pass them/cut them off. But my favorite has to go to an all black GT3 I saw - MY WMD

A good friend of mine in Orange County has a very cool Environmental Plate. Excellent use of language and numbers...not to mention clever.
Hopefully, he won't mind my showing off his creativity. I believe he's attending a Porsche Driving School Master Class this very weekend. Schnell, indeed.

What happened to the guy on Rennlist who had the custom Nevada plates and got pulled over by the highway patrol and then nearly shot? (The plate were personalized and had been on a stolen 911 from years before). When the cops ran the plates they were reported as to a stolen Porsche (maybe a 964 era car)). Wound up that the police and that state's DMV weren't communicating with each other. That will teach you! Try and be REAL original!!

I saw an audi A8 with IH8TAXS - got a kick out of it. probably more relevant for the tax rebate check string.

maybe i'll give up all my driving privileges and get "IH8COPS" :-)
