I had the same concern because I experienced the hot sun on black interior in Raleigh when I lived there. My solution was to have them tint the windows. Makes a huge difference! I had test driven a 996 turbo with window tint and couldn't believe it. It felt like the car had been in the shade instead of sitting out in the hot sun.

And with the alpine white body and black tires, the tint looks downright awesome IMHO.
