True; but only if the wear is within the policy tolerance. People forget that. I bought it too and used it once so I think it a good idea/deal.

If you're at home, office, etc. I would use the 1-800 Porsche service. I would only use the goo if I was stuck on the side of the road somewhere and needed/wanted to get away in a hurry.
