what is she worth?
Hi all,
I am in the midst of (another?) mid-life crisis.. well not really but I am looking at off loading my car to get something else. Now before you ask what the "something" else is, it's nothing exotic but just more practical. I have had fun with the car, but it does not hold 2 kid well. I am 6'3 and nobody will be able to sit behind me, unless they are legless midgets...
So, I ask all your advice in what you think my car is worth either as a trade or outright sale.
2007 CS with X51 power kit.
full black leather
adaptive sports seats
heated seats
sport chrono plus
module for phone pcm
navigation and
bose audio..
There are other goodies like aluminum gear shift and handbrake, sports shifter, 19 inch Carrera wheels etc..
Milage is just under 3k and there is not a blemish on the car.
What can I expect to receive? I want to minimize the hit due to the car being leased and I am in month 10 of a 24m lease.
TIA
Andre

There is an 07 C2S Cab for sale at Pioneer Porsche in San Diego for $95kwhich is obviously over-priced and probably the reason it hasn't sold since I first noticed it in late January. It has 6600 miles, doesn't have full leather, and has manual sport seats. I would hope you could get at least $80k or more for the features and low mileage. I've read here somewhere that X51 probably adds no more than $5k to the value over a car without X51. Good luck.

Yup, been offered $80k. so that is in the sweet spot. Another $5k would be a "no brainer" but I do not think that is likely from a trade in perspective. I might get it on a private sale.
Thanks guys for the quick reply.

Just joined the forum as I am looking for a 07 S with low miles. I lurked for a few months having deciding that a 997 is right for me. I have learned a tremendous amount by reading this forum and forward to buying a car soon. Since I am in CT please give my a buzz if you get serious about selling.

Just kidding, jdm9578. Welcome to Rennlist. We're a bunch of jokers here.
Hi, this is my first post. I am new to the forum. I want to buy your car. Will you take a cashier's check for the $81K? We could meet at the old abandoned warehouse -- you bring the car and the title and I'll bring the check.

Thank's Programmatore! (for the idea too!). I had a 05 C2 for a few months last year. I sold it knowing I would buy one this spring. I have owned quite a few cars in my life, but nothing made me get a stupid grin on my face like the porsche. It also allowed my to see if it was comfortable, (big guy) and what options I would want. By owning one for a few months I was able to figure most of it out. I had forgot how much I used to love just getting in a great car on a nice day, and just drive.

SO.. since your post was edited, a lot, let me know if you are serious.. The car is leased, so any and all paperwork will go through PFS. If you were kidding then no harm, no foul.
But rest assured tha if I meet anyone at the "old abandoned warehouse" I will be bringing a lot more than the car..

Yes I'm serious. I looked at cars in Greenwich and Fairfield this weekend. I looked for a black S. I drive all over the state (I'm a contractor). If you send me an Email I will give you my cell #. Who knows, right? jdm9578@yahoo.com
