when chixster drivers do this to me at a light, i like to take my time looking their car up-n-down, and then i just smile/smirk as if the very thing they are sitting in makes me laugh. when it turns green a lot of them take off even faster, but mostly to simply scoot away from embarassment
Now who is being the douche bag? You're clearly full of it pal.
You will now be the first person to ever be put on my ignore list.
I agree that Steve should be banned on general principles.
But out of all seriousness, I too wonder why Dave is focusing on }{ when it was Steve who called Ben a Douche. But hey, it's a free world and Dave can ignore whomever he chooses.
I also think you, Noah, like stirring the pot. Last time you get to wash your car at my house.
I'm hoping that the remarks he made were made in jest. Otherwise, the maturity level on this forum is falling.
I am 99% sure that many of the posts here have been sarcastic to make a point, but getting back to the point of this thread . . .
the 997 is mass produced at such a volume that I suspect the profile of purchasers is extremely diverse. As such, you are likely to see the whole spectrum of behavior from 997 owners. However, the car in many areas is fairly recognizeable, so the sins of some get attributed to many of us. The other possibility is that the rudeness some attribute to the fact that we are in Porsches may have nothing to do with the fact that we are in Porsches, but more due to rudeness in general.
Well, I am getting ready to take my daily driver to be put on display for a Porsche event tonight. If any of you guys are there, be sure to say hello . . . and NO HATERZ.

you again w/ the name calling?? since you do not own a chixster, your relevance in this issue is zero. besides, the scenario is: a guy revving his car at a light vs. me laughing at his childish behavior, and I'M the douche? i'll stop being 'the douche bag' when you stop being the masshole.

i'm pretty sure you and points are the only ones who get it and not have their panties in a bunch over this issue

not my admission but yours. the one where you said you seldom take your car on the road.
And how, in your best opinion, does that prove his point?
I own more cars than I can drive. So are you saying that's wrong? That one shouldn't own more cars than one can drive? Jerry Seinfeld, Jay Leno, and a host of others fall under that category. So are you drawing the same conclusion of them as well? Certainly you're smarter than to agree with his statement, right?
