I've been using Griot's Interior Cleaner on a micro-fiber cloth for about 4 months - happy so far. No sheen. Don't know how much protection it offers - probably not much. The sun never shines up here so it really isn't a problem...

"303 Aerospace Protectant here as well"

I'm in for the 303 too. I use it for all of my rubber and plastic around the windows, doors, mud guards etc. Holds up well and not too glossy.

Just ordered some 303 Aerospace based on the thread to give it a try. Got some Shower Shield too since I hate cleaning my shower.

watered down simple green (2:1) works wonders. No shine, but it does the trick. I use it on all my cars interior plastic and have found it to be very effective. Gets the dirt, dust off and leave it looking new. Who knows if it is ok..but I have used it for years with no ill effect.

Wow, ease up on that simple green. Read the label and you'll see light cleaning should be diluted greatly. I don't recall exactly but I think it is 10 or 20 to 1 dilution. That stuff can fool you with the fresh scent and biodegradable nature. It is very strong. I used to use it to clean my wheels on a former car and it etched the aluminum and the calipers. Can't be good for leather or vinyl at that strength.

not sure of the exact dilution but I am referring to diluting the bottle, pre mixed, I have used it for years without any ill effects. Seems to work great and the vinyl has never looked better. I would NEVER use it on my leather - plastic and vinyl only.

Again, you need to be careful with the products you use on vinyl, especially in heavily sun exposed areas like the dashboard. That haze that you get on the inside of your windshield, particularly during the summer, is from the vinyl "off-gassing" (can't wait to see where the thread spins off from here). You want a product that returns the oils to the vinyl and protects against the sun, not just something to clean it.
