Default used my cupholder this morning

I can't believe i did it but I used my cup holder this morning on the way to work. I just needed coffee bad! It actually worked extremely well and i did not spill a drop! After seeing them in the showroom I figured I would NEVER try them. Well that lasted less than a week!

I'd use mine if they were on the steering wheel - I've got a request into fellows at Stuttgart to move them to the wheel.

I used mine for the first time last week on a trip. They worked very well but if I had a choice, I would take them out.

This would make airbag deployments much more exciting.

As a coffee addict...I think the cup holders are incredibly well designed! They may not be the most durable, but you can't fault the ingenious design.

Speaking of steering wheel improvements, they should put little nubs at the bottom half of the wheel so I can steer the car easier with my knees while I drink and shave on my way to work.

My cup holders will swing from detente under hard cornering --- highly undesirable w/ a cup of coffee!

Are you closing the little flap after deploying the cup holders!!?? This prevents the cup holders from doing what you're describing.

Better than catching it in the car door.

I thought those were hand cuffs - wasn't there a thread not too long ago about the proper use of in-dash cuffs!

I use mine regularly, however the only issue I have with them is the driver's is positioned to slop and spill on the centre console and controls......
I usually just drape an el cheepo Costco microfiber cloth to catch the slops.....
