Funny thing is a lot of the questions you guys posted here (since you've heard them ad infinitum over the years) are ones that I have no idea what the answers are (being a brand new Porsche owner).

It would be great if there were some sort of "sticky" post or link that archived all of these FAQs. There are other forums that have this sort of functionality so the forums regulars don't have to be be bombarded with the same questions over and over again.

Personally, I search the archives before asking a question, but it would be great to have a central repository of information because many times there are questions that I don't even know to ask yet. It would be great to see those ahead of time.

I only use my steering wheel part of the time because the pinion gear riding across the rack will wear it out over time.

But since I’m here, what is the best way to put air in a 997? I’ve heard you start with the front wheels first. But on another forum they said the back wheels are larger. Are the back wheels larger than the front on a C2S? Is this the same for the targa? What is the option code for same sized wheels but with deviating stitching?

Depends. Are you talking about driving a car?

In answer to the first, it's dyslexic-speak for what Dennis-the-Menace's wife (now that the guy has finally grown up) calls copulation.

In answer to the second......jeez, Dave, how did you know?

......Oh, and if I fill my tyres with hydrogen, will the nett reduction in un-sprung mass make much difference to the car's 0-100mph sprint time?

My CD player skips while on the track at Sebring. Would going to 18" tires and wheels stop this?

Possibly.
Have you considered 22s? They look better.

Someone over on a Mini board asked if there is special windshield wiper fluid required. So it's not just here.
