How many leave Porsche Sport Exhaust on most of the time?
Curious how many owners with Porsche Sport Exhaust leave it on more then off? I understand from the cabin the sound is no that much different and the exahaust really comes alive sound wise at higher RPMs and at WOT. I am contemplating the exhaust hack which evokes the same (or very similar) sound as the PSE on, the only problem is after the hack it's on for life! I want a more pronounbced sound but nothing to loud or droning inside and think this is perfect but just want to make sure it's the right call, thanks for your comments...
If you don't leave it on all or most of the time when do you turn it on and if you had to suddenly make a choice to leave it on at all times or keep it off at all times what's your choice?

On about 100%, shocks on Normal. How can you drive your Porsche with it off?
Sure there's the "hack" to just unplug it or install the white/black diaphram etc etc.
The best one I did hear (PSE) was one that had headers and 200 cell sport cats. Now THAT's a PSE! Sounded very nice when you wanted it to and softer when off.

Is this the mod you are referring too? If so, I have done many of these, and they sound great. No droning , or resonance, nice sound in the cabin. I would highly recommend it!

Can't wait to try mine.
I bought a set of take off mufflers and had them "corrected" by FisterD over the driving off season here in Michigan (another 5 inches of white stuff last night). I plan on getting my car out of storage next weekend and hope to get the mufflers put on during the following week.

I think of it as a "hush kit". I leave it on unless I am pulling into my building, my church, my Mom's driveway, or someplace where I want a lower profile. I would like to disable the program which adjusts the noise level down at certain speeds even when it is engaged. But I like the ability to lower the noise level when I want to.
What does pulling the orange plug accomplish? Does it disable the switch or does it eliminate the dip in loudness below 50 mph? Where is the plug located and how much of a project to pull it?
I also like the sport suspension on too, unless the road is bumpy.

I added mine and didn't bother installing the kit, so mine is on all the time. In rare instances it would be nice to have the option to turn it off. The main reason I didn't install the wiring kit was because I didn't like the automatic shutoff between 20-50mph (or whatever it is). VROOM VROOM!!
