If I were to spend $200K on an "exotic", a GT2 would be my first choice.

How about an F430 motor, drivetrain, and some interior acoutrements in an old beater?

[QUOTE=Alstoy;5207976]If money were no object & I had one choice only-Porsche. As for knowing Ferraris, my mum had one for a very brief period in the late 70's. Not a bad car, great sound & feel; but to each his own I suppose.[/QUOT

your MOM had a Ferrari !?!?!?
I can just picture my Mom driving a Ferrari...uh, no I can't.

My Porsche's check all the right boxes for me at this point in my life.

this is my first P car (although just also bought a second for the track). I love the car although I know a Ferrari or two will be in the garage one day. Deffinitely something the heart has to buy not the head

I have to at least consider the fact that my employees and customers may resent the fact that I have a Porsche (or two) and either hold me for ransom or choose to take their business elsewhere even though the Porsches did not directly come from business income.

I understand your point. I agree it's a not a good idea to rub your employees/customers' noses in your success. I have the same problem with referring docs and patients. I used to worry about that stuff and drove my beater to work. I just don't care anymore. Your employees already know you have a Porsche (they may pretend otherwise). Unless your windows are tinted or you only drive at night, someone who knows you will see you and the word will be out.

While I certainly admire Ferraris, it is still Porsches that I lust for. That well worn phrase of "everyday supercar" just rings so true.
