One stirs the sole, the other provides a service. Both have a place, but the 911 is meaner!

+1

All the money in the world = Veyron, half that = Lambo

Feet on ground and car on track every month = Porsche

I presume you are aware "Mary Ann" has been in the news lately. Here is a recent mug of her after being arrested for reckless driving and possession of some kind bud and a car floor full of roaches.

Meahwhile, here is Molly Sims

Who would you rather spend some time with?

Because it's only a 6-banger! A real Ferrari has 12 cylinders!

Okay,

Molly wins... thanks for ruining a memory, and filling my brain with unobtainium.

Ouch!

Default not going back

I came to my 997S from a 308GTB. Owned it for 24 years.
Truly a great experience and not as costly as suggested.

However, the Carrera S is a car you can enjoy daily and not as conspicuous as a Ferrari. I loved my 308 and would love another F car BUT only as a "toy". Since a toy that pricey is out of my reach and I got out of the 308 due to lack of time/ space to enjoy it, that concept it history.

However, I do thank the car g-ds on a daily basis that I was lucky enoough to have owned/loved a Ferrari and now drive IMHO, the best sports car in the world that can be enjoyed and driven regularly.

I had my orig. 308 steering wheel, nose badge and shift **** framed with an identification plate as a remeberance.
(all were replaced with OEM parts for the next owner so as not to bastardize my baby)

PS...nothing sounds as good as a Weber fed Ferrari...

Porsche has steel timing belts. Ferrari has rubber timing belts. That
explains the cost. Ferrari belts need to be replaced even if the car sits
in the garage. I want to own a Ferrari some day. My next car
will be another Porsche. Porsche makes great cars!!!

Really? Explain that, please?

But no seriously, I think that while Ferraris can be lots of fun for the reasons everyone cited, for day-to-day real-world excitement while being able to get parts and service reasonably quickly and cheaply, you can't beat a Porsche.

I would never buy a Ferrari to replace my p-car, but if I had the cash I'd love to add one to the stable. I couldn't justify the purchase; but the look and sound of a 430 just does it for me.

If I had money to burn I would get a Ferrari for those nice days... Still, Porsche cars are very special to me in a way that Ferraris aren't.

Wrong. The 430 is has a timing CHAIN not a belt. Again with the myths.
