Default Phone button on PCM

My friend is looking at a 2005 Porsche 911S on Ebay. I noticed on the pics that there is no phone button on the PCM unit, Is this normal since I have never seen this before. The car does have Bose and Navigation. Is this an early model? If this is a normal model what is it called so he can avoid it because he is planning on installing a tooki bluetooth system.

If there was no 'TEL' marked on that button, do you remember what was printed on it?

FWIW, the earliest cars (I have one) cannot be retrofitted with the phone module. But I think there is a still a TEL button - but I would have to go look to be sure.

I did a quick lookup on the famous auction site, and found some 2005 997s for sale. In their pictures, I did see a different button layout of the PCM (compares to the current 997 PCM). The row of buttons read as: --

MAIN-AUDIO-SOUND-ORG-VOICE-INFO-TRIP-NAVI

- And yes, it doesn't have the SIM slot about the REPEAT button.

- Also no SOS button on top of the PCM dash.

- Also the top two buttons on the left-top-corner marked as CD and CDC instead of the phone logos.

That's all I noticed. Just FYI

Thats exactly what I'm talking about. So does that means that this is an early production date? Also would he still be able to install the tooki bluetooth to it?
