pretty sure the motor is deactivated and it seems like it's a replacement for the spoiler only. I know for sure you keep the decklid.
How do you feel about a GT3 style wing? I'll swap it for your decklid and some $$

Ian,

The guy who bought that car for his wife lives in Charlotte. He posted here on the 997 forum that it was a Techart III spoiler installed by Hendrick Porsche in Charlotte. Here is a link to his thread about the wing. BTW, the two pics you posted are from this thread.

Ina, I thought you would find that interesting.

I figure that the "real truth" is either, a) your supplier is lying about that being his wing, or b) the Charlotte dealer ordered an after market wing and told the owner it was a Techart wing and charged him the Techart price.

I seriously doubt it was the latter, especially when you consider the HUGE negative ramifications (a.k.a. lawsuit) if the owner of the car found out he had been sold a knock off wing at Techart prices. I don’t think the dealer would risk this for an additional $500 to $750 profit.

If you push that suppliar (hee hee) on this please let us know what he says. If you don't want to publish his company's name that is OK. I am curious to hear what his reply will be.

I put the Techart II wing on my 997s and I have received numerous complements from everyone who has seen it. I'll try and post some pic's this weekend weather permitting.
