I think I'd stick with neun-neun-sieben instead of nine hundred ninety seven, which is actually neunhundert siebenundneunzig - nine hundred, seven and ninety.

I am American and it is Poor-sha.

My wife is German and it is more like Paww -sha. The r is somewhat silent and sounds a bit more like a long "w". Actually sounds much cooler the german way with the full accent. Good luck and don't lose any sleep over it.

It's pronounced "Porscheee", well at least by my 6 and 3 yr. old boys..

For me it's Poor-sche..as I am way more poor now..
