Things I did not know, notice or other 997 "A-HA!" moments
All,
I recently read a post here that explained that the Sport Chrono "Pimple" in my dash could be moved into three different positions for middle, driver and passenger view. This was kind of neat and certianly something I did not know.
I also read another post that people were noticing the clothing hook on the back of their seats for the first time... I kinda noticed mine already but still.... nice point.
In the same vein of that do you have any other "A-Ha" moments about your 997 that did not seem obvious at the time or that you discovered along the way?
I would love to know every little thing I can about the 997 and maybe learn more from the sharing.
Like it is not a problem that the auto-up pilot feature works up and down on the drivers side from all positions but only works down on the passenger side. To get it to go up in auto mode you have to hold the switch up past a certain point for the feautre to take over.
Post em' here.. I am interested to know...

*You can open the fuel filler door with an emergency manual release latch located on the front frame of the passenger door.
*One of my favorite A-HA moments, which I learned from Rennlist, was that you can lift the front & rear wheels off the ground simultaneously by jacking at one point:

After I initially set up the pcm I never really played with the display.
I hit the trip button, and there the trip computer . Elapsed time, mileage, all the goodies.
After 2 years.
Aha !

That the car will not stay under the posted speed limit on any highway despite my 30+ years of conservative, no ticket, driving. This has to be a design flaw.
