Hi,
If you take the drivers rear tire off, you can reach up to a hole and pull a cable that will release the engine trunk lid. Also, looking in the engine compartment to the left there is a thread nut. I bought a metric bot and put it in the thread. I had some idea that I would bolt some small box to the thread but I know it gets very hot back there.

there is a second outlet for detector radar cords etc on the left side of the passenger footwell, I never sit on that side so did not know that until I cleaned that area
