My father in law is looking to order a 2008 C2S in Ruby Red with manual trans. I have the full option list he wants but won't bore you guys with it. The local Tucson, Arizona dealer claims to have no more allocations for a C2S. Any dealers around this forum who want to make a sale?

 

Ruby Red is a horrible color.

 

I would suggest you go to the Porsche web site and do a search on dealers within 500 miles of your location and contact a few of them to see if they have any allocations.

If you car willing to go farther away from Tuscon, you could also PM likemystoppie? (I think his first name is Chris). He works at Porsche in North Olmstead, Ohio. He may be able to help you.

 

Interesting. Now is only the beginning of 2008, even if the 2009 model will come as early as August, there is still more than half a year away...

The other day I received a dealer letter saying that Porsche is cutting USA 2008 production number by 17% across the product line...

I also read some other posts reporting that there are fewer and fewer new 997S available in the dealer lots...

With all these points summing up, I couldn't help but wonder if there is something going on at Porsche about the supply of new 997's to the US market... :

Check out the dealer in wallingford ct the last time I stopped by they had a ruby red S on there showroom floor. Don't know what the price is or discount, currently not in the market but was in there for service. Good luck in your search.

I do not, but if i can find a camera here at the dealership, i can get some.

 

The spots are water from its quick rinse, hope the pics are ok
