Instead of going to the dealer and having them charge $90 for an engine air filter replacement, I bought it from them and changed it myself in 20 minutes.
I took off the oil filler tube and the rubber housing off the air intake.
I then rotated the unit upward and removed all the screws, took the unit apart and "voila".
When I came home though tonight, I noticed there was a rubber grommet on the floor. Where in the world does it go? It is about 3//4" diameter x 1" tall?
Thanks!

I think that this is the grommet that holds the air filter housing to the sheet metal at the BOTTOM. The air filter housing " snaps" onto it to hold it in place at the bottom. There is no other attachment of the air filter housing to the engine compartment to keep it in place.

You did it just like I did! Remember that there is a plastic fastener INSIDE the air intake (on the left) that needs to be reattached to the engine. It's easy to overlook that. It was nice that Porsche make the 8 screws captive.

Found the issue. There are two plastic feet on the outside of the airbox that the airbox sits into two holes with grommers in the engine compartment. When I pulled the airbox out, it came with it and fell through to the floor.
There are two-one on the right and one on the left.
Easy!
Maybe next time I will change the air in the tires myself as well!
