Default 06 C4S X51 Aero trade in value?

About to trade-in 06 C4S (X51 Aero kit , Basalt Black, tan sport seats, painted backs, console, dash etc. - $129k MSRP, 9k miles, Certified) on GT3 RS. What is a fair trade-in price?

Default Milage will have some bearing on the price

I would expect that it would be around 80-85 depending on condition, not much leverage for you as a GT3RS is a sweet car, and should command a premium price (ie not much discounting).

I got the mid-80's on my 06 C4S w/ x51, no aerokit, and ~10k miles as a trade.

They sold it in less than one week for MID 90's!!!

If you're not getting some tax advantage for trading it in... you might want to sell it yourself.

ps - My C4S was custom set up at order by me and I SERIOUSLY regret selling it. You might want to think twice... the C4S w/ x51 is the BEST AWD, NA 911 ever made.

Car is flawless. Thanks for the input. Car is in Northeast - does that matter?

If I were to sell it myself (dealer can process transaction to save taxes), where should I list it?

When I was searching I had the best luck finding cars on Autotrader.com and cars.com, so I would suggest listing there. But also post it in the classifieds on Rennlist and the other Porsche boards. Wouldn't hurt to put it in the Panorama if you're a PCA member.

Car sounds really sweet. Good luck selling it.

Sounds like a dream car, any pics? You should be able sell that one rather quickly on your own for a lot more.

If your waiting for the new car and don't mind the hassle why not put it up for sale?

I listed my 2006 Corvette Z06 on Cars.com and it sold in 12 hours. Of course the classifieds here at the link on the above right are free for members I think and I check those daily just in case.

If you do decide to list it, let us know. I'd like to drool on it.

I have the list of options at my office. I think I have some photos too. Will post tonight or tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestion. Major options are X51 (which includes Sport Exhaust - a $17k option) Aero kit, Sport Chrono, Navigation, Sport Seats. Other options include painted seat backs, console, door closers, that strip in the dash where the cup holders are. It also has the Bose upgrad. There are about twenty options - another thousand dollars here, a thousand dollars there. I do remember that the MSRP was $129k. Car is also CPO. I bought the car with under 100 miles, and had the dealer certify it.

Sounds like just what I have been fantasizing about in the "build your own" section of Porsche.com in a different color combo with AWD. It is amazing how these options mount up. Don't see many X51's around. How do you like the option? Any idea how much the car weighs suited out like this?

No idea about the weight. I imagine the X51 reduces weight - carbon fiber intake and such. Aero kit is probably the same or lighter than the deployable spoiler. Lobster claws are lightest 19" wheels. Great description of the X51 package in the letters section of this month's Excellence - the one withthe GT2 on the cover. I had an 05 C2S before and this is a MUCH more interesting car. Sport exhaust (part of the X51 package) is terrific.

When I was looking for a GT3 I found my C4S which is similar to yours (no aero kit though). I've kind of lost the GT3 bug for now. I'm sure you would have no problem selling the car yourself and if you trade I'd hold out for mid to upper 80's.
