Now that the NAV-TV Tooki has been out for some time now, how are they holding up to every day use? Has everyone worked out the bugs/learning curve on it.
Since the holidays are over and I have some free time on my hands i'm planning on installing the tooki and an ipod system in my 997S Cab So here are my questions:
Where is the best place to mount the mic in a cab?
Which IpodIpod hook-up would you guys recommend. The Nav-tv, Dension, or others?
I have spent days reading posts on the ipod products and it seems like there were some minor problems with the early release products. If you were buying a unit or had to do it over again which unit would you purchase?
With spring a few months away i like to get my car ready for the coming driving season
Thanks
P.S. I hope everyone had a great Holiday season and a great start to a new year!

I have had both the dension ipod unit and the navtv ipod unit. I also tried both the dension bluetooth unit and the tooki unit. I still own all four. I have the tooki with navtv ipod controller in the car now. The navtv ipod is by far the easiest to use of the two. As for bluetooth, the tooki cannot be beat. I also have option 666 telephome module in the car. I have disconnected option 666 and use only the tooki. I have the blackberry curve from at&t and system integration is flawless. I also have the multi-function techart steering wheel and all buttons work both for ipod and for tooki. Moni has done a fantastic job. The only bug I experience is either the CD CHANGER or TELEPHONE system error will display. This does not happen every time I start the car but does occaisonally happen. If this happens...i have to shut the car down and let it reset. I believe navtv is working on this problem. Hope this info helps.

rshanholtz Looks like you have a Cab so Where did you mount your mic? I know that the coupe owners are mounting the mic by the dome light.

Sound quality with the top up is good until you go over 70 or so. The sound with PSE engaged is quite loud at that point. I just plugged back in the orange plug to disengage full time PSE and will check the sound over 70 as soon as the wx breaks. As for top down, I have not had a chance to put the top down yet since the tooki install...NE sucks!
