Default Question for those with TechArt front lip

Does the lip decrease the ground clearance? I already have H&R lowering springs and don't want to increase the risk of scraping. My understanding is that the lip simply attaches to the OEM bumper and does not extend any lower. Is this correct? Thanks!

It looks as if it would definitely decrease the ground clearance in the very front (away from the tires), but maybe you should call CEC (they are the official U.S. distributor of Techart products): http://www.cecwheels.com

You're spot on, Soulteacher. I had never noticed such an extreme difference until you put these pics side-by-side. Frankly, this worries me. I have the lip on the way, and don't have the heart to put my OEM springs back on. Anyone else have the TechArt lip, with or without lowering springs?

Does anyone else have anything to add? My deadline to order my TechArt parts is tomorrow. Time would be of the essence. Thanks so much for your input.

Default TECHART

You have to be careful pulling up and down steep driveways, ( always at an angle).Under the car on the Techart front lip spoiler I can tell where it scraped, but noting visible on the exterior of the spoiler.Techart is poly not fiberglass so it is durable.
