Thanks for all your replies. Very valuable input and agree. So I decided to go with the full install for a few reasons in addition. As I also have an old Carrera 2.7 with agressive cams, SSI and dansk muffler, and this already bugs the neighbors. Also returning home late at night from south beach I don't need the added attention from the police.

I'm leaving early in the morning tomorrow to Sarasota and have Suncoast install.

Thanks all.

You're going from Miami to Sarasota for PSE? Will the South Florida dealers not do it for you? I fled Ft. Lauderdale for Sarasota for Hurricane Andrew, but felt as though I didn't have much choice

I have decided to remove the PSE and install the Evo Headers, Mufflers, and Intake from my Silver 997, as well as some High Flow Cat that I just picked up. I think that the new one will be a nicer sounding exhaust, I am sure we will see each other at a PCA event in the new year. BTW I don't think that you are cantankerous, the old part...well maybe!

If you're planning on selling your PSE, I'd be interested in buying it.

One of the best sounding PSE systems an oner had high-flow cats inline with the headers and PSE. Off, not too bad, but on sport and hard on the gas, WOW sounds MUCH better. Wish Porsche did that.

Me, I too don't want to ****-off others including the wife (who hates this car-go figure) so I have the ability to turn it on or off.

Otherwise, I'd have gone with a Tubi.

I have PSE came with my car from factory, and I like the 'Quiet' button.

I live in a quiet & peaceful neighbourhood, the police pretty much has nothing to do at night except hiding around roads waiting for excuses to giving traffic tickets. Even finding cars without front license plate is a victory to them

Without the Quiet button, my PSE will probably generate unnecessary attention to them. To me, the Quiet PSE mode is my ticket safer

With best regards,

I am not sure what the market is on a PSE system, but I am considering selling it. PM me with an offer.
