I have the SIP (which is a white color paste) and 85RD (which is a gray color paste). They did not have the 106fa available at the time so instead of buying the older version, I decided to wait and just test out the SIP and 85RD. I'll be sure to try the 106fa next time. I did not notice any discoloring on the rubber seals and cracks of the car. I accidentally get some polish on it but I was able to wipe it off with a towel with no harm.

DOn't forget there are TWO versions of PO85RD. One is PO85RD 3.02 which is really PO83 or SIP (Super Intensive Polish) in the USA.
True PO85RD is just that, no "version" and is used only on Ceramiclear finishes to remove haze from leveling. It is a true finish polish, but takes time and if it dries too fast before breaking down, just mist with distilled water and continue and monitor results.
This is why Blackfire makes a "Nano" polish or SCR (Scratch Resistant Polish) licensed by Menzerna for "PC" use. Easier than true rotary type polishes by Menzerna. Menzerna is very aware of how the USA perceves their polishes and to protect their name and value, they "license" a polish to be mfg in the states, re-labeled for consumer use.
Those in the professional side mostly still use 3M. Menzerna is working hard to get shops introduced to the Menzerna line, but since 3M is 3M which has such a large share in the industry, provides full training and support etc, Menzerna is the underdog. But, once someone (with an open mind) in a 3M shop uses Menzerna, they are hard pressed to go back to 3M.
Don't get too frustrated with the polishes, they do have a learning curve since they are made for rotary use, in a factory setting which is controlled on how much, which speed, time of polishes etc. while on the line.
So it takes time to learn it.

fishman,
It's pretty fun and rewarding to do on your own. I dont like spending 10 hours (for me) of my time but I did go at my own pace and took lots of breaks. I dont regret doing it myself because I know I can be more meticulous then a professional detailer. I plan on doing it again in a few months.![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I think i'm addicted to this... Next up is the 335i, i'm sure it wont take me nearly as long. But that's probably bc I dont love the car nearly as much...
