Default My first 997 Blizzard.

The only thing that I really worried about with my old 996 and 993 was getting caught in a snowstorm. All those cars wanted to do on ice was spin out.

But after putting my T4S to the test in a pretty bad storm here all I can say is wow, what a difference. It stops straight on ice with the ABS going full tilt. Goes around corners with confidence. Even with the P-Zeros. This is a car that I wouldn't hesitate using all winter, anywhere.

Even trying to make it spin in a parking lot, it's very easy to recover.

I also had a 993 and 996 and now a 997s (addicts, aren't we?)

Had snow tires on each and they are great in the snow, but snow tires are a must.

WHAT??? You were giving me grief in a post a couple months back about not driving my car enough, remember???!?!?! I told you it snowed too much here!

Here is your exact quote:

"That's why I got a C4S, I'm at 6300ft and I'm going to use it. With all that salt and other stuff one might lose sleep. But I didn't pay the big bucks to look at it, I wrote the check to drive it."

Now you are because of some slush!!! Give me a month or two and I will show you what a blizzard looks like. Not that wussy sprinkle of a snow shower.

Boy you changed your tune after giving me crap

Grief, I never give grief. Who me!

We are supposed to get 8 inches tonight, which will render my T4S a Garage Queen until it melts which being a 100 miles from the Mexican border won't be long. That's why I have a Jeep Wrangler, because 997's still are not very good at Plowing through that.

My point is that this 997 far exceeded my expectations on snow packed roads even with the P-Zeros. So I won't be leaving it home when I have to go somewhere if there is snow in the forecast. As long as the roads are plowed I feel confident that I will get there in safety and style. The Jeep can stay home.

Thanks for that heads-up, but shamefully in that year I have stored it for 5 months under a car cover and have only driven it less than a dozen times

Do you use the P21S applicator?

I guess I have been spending too much time at the beach!!!!!

There is your original post and your point is??
