I'll say one thing about Porsche. Want to make a 90k car a 100k car real quick. Have the dealers install options like the phone and the Navigation system. I would get the Garmin. Al those fancy buttons will be useless but you will have more money.

My wife bought me a TomTom 510 for Christmas last year. Easy to use, excellent directions, nice verbal prompts. I have been very satisfied with it.

Good luck!
I called all of those places in addition to Beverly Hills and LA Downtown. Same story. Rusnak in Pasadena did my install for $400. I supplied the parts. It's around 2 hours of labor per the TSB. Dropped my car off at 8:30 and got the call at 11am that it was ready.
Anyone who pays $4k is a fool.

I have the factory Nav in my 07 997S, and frankly the Porsche Nav is just acceptable. The only big benefit of the factory Nav is that it integrates with the Bose and PCM Phone Moduel, so it will mute each other out accordingly.

I also have a Garmin 360 (from Costco Online, $399) to use in my rental cars whenever I travel. Excellent GPS and tiny to carry/hide.

If I don't have the factory Nav in my car, I would just get the Garmin and save the money.

With best regards,

I believe our price is $2700 installed... Dont quote me on it though...
It isnt a long install but you need to be careful when dont parts of the install, you can do a lot of damage... Ask me how i know..
