itd be awesome if they made a 997 turbo targa, because the turbo cab looks fugly.

Enjoy the new targa and dont trade this one. Buy another 911 if you start to feel the itch.

I wish, but I doubt it. Targas sell at low volume as it is.

I agree though that the Turbo Cab looks fugly, kinda like a squished bug.

I won't. I hope I won't. I really hope I won't...

This is my second Targa, and the only reason I sold the 996 one was that its engine went ka-BOOM. PCNA paid for the replacement, but I lost faith in the thing after that.

Very nice car tmc. Just drove a TS4 (sorry, I love that!) today and really liked it. For some reason, I've got it in my head that the C2S Cab has got to go and a Targa should replace it.

Since you have both, I'd be very interested in which one you gravitate to more often. I know you've only had it a short while, but would value your opinion.

Am afraid I will miss the open air drive, but have always preferred the look of the coupe over the cab.

Driving the TS4 with everything down is almost the Cab experiance. What I am looking forward to is the 6 months of the year when it's to cold to put the top down and it's still almost a Cab experiance.

+1... I look forward to drives through the back roads to my favorite winery on a cold sunny winter day. Seasonal affective disorder- you just got pwn3d!

This is my second Targa. I've had five convertibles (1 BMW 330cic, 1 BMW M3, 2 Boxster S's and now a 993 C4 cab). The Targa is about 3/4ths of the way to a cab from a coupe... It's a bit "more open" than a sedan that has a big moon roof. (That being said, there are times that the Targa feels like a coupe with a big sun roof.) On the flip side, you get all of the open feeling of a cab, but a touch more privacy. You don't feel like a bug on a petri dish as much as you do in a cab.

My suggestion: get a Targa, see if you love it. I bet you will. If not, the Targa resale market is pretty good (it's a small pond, but the fish are ferocious).

Thanks for the follow up. I keep reading more about the Targa and like what it has to offer.

Change is good for the soul.

These so-called Targa models without the brushed rollbar are not a Targa in my world- they are just a coupe with a nice big sunroof. Wh were these ever given the Targa name?

This one might be a steal.

And in US bucks, about $47k. Low milage, too.
No relation to seller.
