Go and get a few cans of the 1Z and while you're at it, several other products from 1Z are truley great products. I think you'll get the odor out with this as I have removed some really nasty mold smell from poor evaporator drain holes in some cars.

The Lederpflege works great for Porsche leathers. For plastic and vinyl, use the Cockpit Premium. For rubber seals around the car, use: Gummi Pflege Stift.

One of my favorite car wash products is Perls another great product that adds a little protection after washing. I use Perls often when washing, then follow with Zaino Z6 or Z8. Sometimes I'll use the 1Z Lackfinish spray to add a bit more reflection.

Many also like the line of polishes they make. I use the silicone free ones which are very close with the likes of Menzerna 106FF and P085RD. The other polishes are mostly for general use by consumers and work very well.

If the 1Z doesn't resolve the problem, which it should, then find a good detail shop that has ozone generator for odor removal.

As others said, probably just mold on the cabin filter, easy replacement.

On another note, does anyone had their car smell like aweful BO after valet/garage parking? Smelt like the guy ran a marathon and then read a book in your car. Gross!

Yep, that would be the first thing I'd have changed, then go from there.

The 1Z Klima Cleaner does work very well.

As for BO from Valet, this is where I go with ozone generator as it will fog the entire interior clean of any odor.

Did one car that had a dog that crapped in the mini-van. After full shampoo and power extraction, I used an ozone generator to clean the odor out. Then, turned on the cooling system to make sure that too was cleaned. Smell gone and after treating the interior with 1Z Cockpit Premium for vinyl/plastic, it smells new.

I don't let anyone valet my car. I just park in out of the way spaces.

I would have to get rid of the car even if I liked it otherwise, and even if the smell went away.

I couldn't live with the metal image of the PO sitting in the driver's seat.

Don't forget that ozone generators are rated by Mg/hr not by cfm or sq foot ratings. That's the best way to compare, and only the real way to compare.

A good professional one will remove most anything.

try turning the heat on full blast with full fan. shut the car doors and windows and leave the car running for about half an hour with the heat on. This can help kill any bacteria or mildew inside the a/c box. If not i have heard of a coating on the heat exchanger/evaporator failing causing this horrid smell.

I would check this drain and then spray the Lysol or a mild bleach/water solution into the air intake with the blower running to disinfect the evaporator and clear the mold.

Griott's Garage sells some products to remove or neutralize odors.

There's 'Stinky-Be-Gone and and Leather Scent.

Check them out.

I doubt cabin air filter replacement would do much unless there is mold on the filter itself. Filters filter particulate matter, not odors.
