Obviously a much more expensive car - but I'm curious if anyone here has owned or considered a BGT.
I ran a DE with one recently -- very impressive car on the track esp. for it's size.
Beautiful body and probably the nicest interior I've ever seen.

The GT is a beautiful car, but I can't imagine that anyone who owns one gave a second thought to "how many trees were cut down in the process."
Wow.

That gorgeous wood on the dash is a veneer on solid wood probably mahogany. One tree provided veneer for many cars. Anyway if I ever bought one I could give a rats **** about how many trees were cut down to provide for my cars interior.

Am I the only one who really hates wood interiors? They used to be special, but with so many immitation wood dashes running around these days, it always seems tacky to me. I've paid extra to NOT have wood in my cars.

a friend had a 2005 Bentley GT. big car. big gas bill. expensive to fix post or excluded warranty.
interior is nice, but IMHO felt like an oppulent Audi S8. (and i thought the 'wood' was plastic?
Bentley's also lose value incredibly fast if driven..."standard miles" on one is something like 4k a year.
car is very fast and fun to drive and if you have another car to drive to the supermarket and aren't worried about resell value why not.
i hear the chicks really dig them.
