Very well written response OCBen.
I find that I am on Rennlist less each day. When I really loved Rennlist was when I was waiting for my car to arrive and just thinking about Porsches helped me get by. Since then, you are correct, much of what's on here is very much the same day in and day out and has definitley lost some of it's appeal.

<And that's okay. But for those who can pretty much set our watches to the next time a particular topic comes around again, it gets a little old. And so do the replies, which lack the original enthusiasm seen when the topic was fresh.>

don't you think replying " search" puts a damper on the discussion, from the start
the assumption is that once a topic is broached, everything relevant has already been covered
in this case, obviously, any new music since that last music thread has been excluded
I know you are trying to be helpful, in your own way, but "search" pretty much says..you are a freaking idiot, and you are wasting my time.
might I suggest you conserve your time and energy by letting everyone chat and you and the few others that keep track of each and every thread can smile quietly to yourself, as you already know the answer.
if john d doesn't complain about the bandwidth, why should you ?
I don't think you would intentionally shut down discussion, would you ?

I'm guilty of it too, but every post ends up like this -- off topic, political, etc. I'm going to make a conscious effort to leave threads alone and contribute if I have something to add, and be helpful if I can.

1) PSE on Sport

2) Sammy Hagar: "I can't drive....55!"

I'd rather listen to RonCT exhaust though!

First CD and song I played as I drove off the dealer lot the day I took delivery.

They thought it appropriate.

Deanski -- if you can make it to Lime Rock on Oct. 1 or 2, I'll give you a nice sound track. 4-7k with the AWE setup on the Main Straight and then the heel-toe sound just great

From today's music I will have to go with Nicklebacks last CD. Also anything from Van Halen goes well, especially the 1st 2 albums and then For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge. If I need to keep my wife upbeat while driving then I will throw in some Earth Wind and Fire.
