Default TUBI Headers/Mufflers Installed

I had the TUBI setup installed today (got it used with 5K miles on it) - headers and mufflers. Nothing new, as I know many of you have posted on this, but I really like the sound. At idle it is really not noticeable but blipping the throttle creates a great throaty sound (can't stop doing that at every chance). At the top of rev range it sounds much more like a race car...I am very impressed and I think this mod is a must have.

I will try to post a sound clip when I get chance.

Did you go through your bank's drive through lanes yet? You think it sounds good in the driveway.....try some concrete barriers or walls next to you and then blip away.

+1 - stock exhaust on the turbo is very timid when in the driveway bliping the throttle, but getting on the highway w/ a concerte wall next to me and the window down....heaven!

Agreed, our local track has a wall on the back stretch and the way that the sound of the exhaust bouncing off the wall makes this one of my favorite parts of the track.

I will try this week. I have been so busy. I will definitely post when I get it done. Don't expect too much. I don't have excellent "video/audio" gear...but I will give it a shot.

J1SD,
Does your set up sound like the F77 car ? Or does the airbox add some of this ?
Sounds fantastic on the clips
Thx

In the high RPM, under load, it does sound like that. I think the airbox probably makes it sound even better...but I definitely here that "scream" at WOT. At idle it is more of a throaty grumble. The sound is just really good....I have not heard others in person (except for stock) so I have no point of reference...but I do really love the sound. I think this clip is very accurate to the sound - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nEgNr1Vf2g
