I've been considering changing my 05 997S regular seats with power adjust and heaters to adaptive sport seats with power adjust and heaters (and alcantara inserts). Does anyone know if these seats can be easily swapped? I would presume the mounts and electrical connections are the same, but am not sure.

I could ask the dealer, but sometime I think there is more expertise on this site.

Here's a previous post somewhat addressing that issue, just the other way around: https://rennlist.com/forums/showpost...09&postcount=1. Hopefully you'll get some more input, though.

Just make sure to test-sit and test-drive the adaptives... while a lot of people like them, there also have been plenty of posts by people who felt uncomfortable.
