Default Scrapes on front lip

I have a 3M Clear Bra on the front of my 997 which wraps under the front lip, as careful as I am, I still get road rash in this area and I have noticed the plastic clear bra material in the area where it wraps aroud the lip is being torn away by minor scrapes and the front lip is still getting dinged to the point where its becoming visible from the front of the car.

Has anyone come up with a solution such as a plastic trim strip to put under the front lip?

the 996 turbo bumper has such a lip....you can just pop it off and for 175 (C4S) and 350 (Turbo) you can get a new one....but within a couple of days it is scraped again. This is a American problem....the ramps onto gas station etc. are retarded (couldn't find a better word). Looks like they are all build for trucks.
