I'm on the palisades on a daily basis, I've recently noticed cops in new spots that I've never seen them doing radar before. Today around exit 4 on the southbound side by the u-turn with the rear lights on clocking cars northbound no lights on in front. Also watch out for the blacked out charger cruising the palisades it's pretty sneaky. I have to say though being familiar with the normal hiding spots and patrol cars I've never had any problems on the palisades, the cops tend to stick to their spots. The same goes for my friend who has a carrera gt and that is his road of choice when he wants to stretch it's legs. I've been a passenger in that car at 184mph on the palisades. He also has never had any problems on that particular road. This month though it seems like they are a little more aggresive.

The end result could have ALL tickets thrown out and drivers records purged of the bogus tickets. There would be other problems also. If a highway normally flows at 75 mph and they drop it to under 65, the highway will only allow a lot fewer cars per hour. Nasty public relations move for the police also.
Boy are you optimistic!

False rumor or not, you should always slow to 79 MPH when passing state troopers. This is done out of respect. Speeding up, at times can also work by giving the trooper a "Who the **** does he know?" measure of doubt. Speeding up and waving..... always a winner.

They must be looking for Osama Bin Ladin tooling around in his tricked out P-Car. He's out there somewhere....why else would the police pull over so many Porsche drivers.
